Alex Duffant is an associate at Prospera Law’s Health Care Industry Group. Prior to joining Prospera, he represented liability insurance carriers in all aspects of litigation from case inception through resolution. Alex earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in May 2021. In law school, Alex served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Inter-American Law Review. He also interned for the Honorable Robin S. Rosenbaum of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and worked as a law clerk for the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office Gangs and Narcotics Unit. Since joining Prospera, Alex has written and argued numerous successful summary adjudication motions and helped health care service plans navigate novel legal issues surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
