Jennifer Andrade is an associate in the health care litigation group at Prospera Law. Within the group, Jennifer represents health care insurers in complex litigation matters.

Prior to joining Prospera Law, Jennifer worked as a contractor for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services- Office for Civil Rights (HHS/OCR) investigating HIPAA Privacy non-compliance, cybersecurity breaches, and civil rights violations against covered entities (health plans, healthcare clearing houses, or health care providers that conduct certain transactions electronically) and their business associates. With her healthcare privacy regulatory background, Jennifer later served as Senior Compliance and Privacy Specialist at two prominent healthcare entities.

Most recently, Jennifer worked as an attorney, representing large insurance companies in complex worker’s compensation matters. 

Jennifer graduated with her Juris Doctorate, from Southwestern Law School in 2018. While in Law school she was a Latino Prosecutors Foundation Scholar and worked as a law clerk in several different areas of the legal industry, including the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office Post Convictions Unit (PC&D).
