Maria Erlinda (Lyn) Santiago is an associate in the health care litigation group at Prospera Law. She represents and defends major health care insurance companies in complex litigation matters.

Prior to joining Prospera, Lyn represented healthcare providers including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, physicians and nurses with a focus in the areas of medical malpractice and elder abuse.  Drawing on her prior experience as an ICU/Telemetry and OR recovery nurse, she brings a practical clinical perspective that enhances her understanding of healthcare operations and strengthens her advocacy on behalf of clients.

Lyn earned her J.D. at Southwestern Law School. While in law school, she co-authored a public policy memorandum on Social Security Disability Determination Services for the City of Los Angeles Commission on Disability and interned at Los Angeles County Medical Association and Medical-Legal Partnership (MLP-LAFLA).
